Program Content
This subject is designed to provide you with an introduction to illustration techniques, design principles, fashion research and design. You will gain an understanding of the professional opportunities available in the fashion industry, and the training required for these positions.

Each day will be structured in three sessions to cover:
. Colour and design principles
. Fashion research and design
. Drawing and illustration

Program Outcomes
On completion of the program, you should have an awareness of introductory colour, design and illustration skills necessary to execute the portfolio required for presentation at Design interviews.

Note: This program is not a prerequisite for the Diploma and Certificate program in Fashion Design.

Course info:
The course brings together general arts subjects and effective communication subjects with core subjects. Students also include electives from a wide range of creative arts subjects.

Students who successfully complete the Diploma of Creative Arts will be eligible for entry to undergraduate Bachelor degree programs offered within the School of Creative Arts, which include the Bachelor of New Media Arts, Bachelor of Creative Arts and Bachelor of Creative Industries. A candidate may use subjects successfully completed within the Diploma of Creative Arts for credit towards undergraduate Bachelor degree programs offered within the School of Creative Arts. Candidates who articulate from the Diploma of Creative Arts into a degree program offered within the School of Creative Arts must surrender their Diploma of Creative Arts prior to the degree being conferred.

1st pathway is only a couple of weeks in duration with no qual. thats cool if you want value add to existing studies but it wont be a huge in improving your employment opportunities.
second option is lot more meaty. what is the cost and application proceedure?
